Hello! I’ve made this goal to help fund M0maly’s upcoming west coast trip to come visit me :) I haven’t seen my mom since I moved across the entire country (it will be 3 months by the time she gets here) and I miss her terribly! Everyone knows how close I am with her (we speak on the phone almost everyday, for about an hour each time hehe) so I want to make her trip out here super fun and relaxing for her. I also won’t get to see her again til Christmas so she’s coming out here for a couple weeks during my August vacation before rank month tings so I can spend more time with her 🥰 Here’s what the fund will go towards: - her flights from New Brunswick all the way to British Columbia! - a hotel room for us for a few nights in Vancouver so we can really enjoy the city :D this will be the most expensive part of the trip - any outings like drinks, dinners, activities while we’re in Vancouver, but also when we go out in my town! I don’t want M0maly to be cooped up in my apartment. I’m ready to show her my favourite local spots!!! - bus tickets so she can go visit her sister that lives on the other side of the province for a few days. She’s very close to this sister and saw her once last summer for the first time in 25 years!!!!! Since I was in the womb (aw) so quality time with her family is a must! - groceries for when she stays at my house. I want to splurge a little bit and really treat her to some nice meals at home. I also want to cook with her and make a big ol batch of spaghetti sauce (MY ABSOLUTE #1 FAV THING EVER) so I can portion it, freeze it and eat it throughout rank month!! This will also be my first time ever making it but I’m ready to learn my favourite recipe from my favourite person! - any items I need to buy to make her stay with me as comfortable as possible. A good air mattress and a few extra blankets and pillows are a must for good rest! - some BC weed that she can go back home with, her favourite 😆 My mom has always been an incredibly hard working selfless parent who put me and my sisters before herself our entire lives. Since I started camming almost 5 years ago, I have been able to do some incredibly things for her because of the support I’ve received. Because of said support, I was finally able to buy her a home 2 years ago after we had been living in low income government housing for over a decade. This was the least I could do to show my gratitude for someone who had sacrificed so much to give me opportunities they didn’t have for themselves. With the continued amazing support of the Super N0va Squad, last summer (2022) I was able to get my mom to retire. Being in her late 60s, M0maly deserved a break. Her jobs always made her exhausted and sore, so I knew it needed to be done. Thanks to the continuous support of Squad, I have been able to support M0maly by paying for the house this entire time while also having my own personal expenses, since her senior income is just enough to cover her own personal expenses. It hasn’t been easy at all, but it definitely helps that the house is in a very cheap area, and my rent up until this west coast move hasn’t been very much. With that being said, I definitely need a little bit of help to get her out here and have a memorable time without stressing about expenses!
